Nomination period
March 2 - 13
Review the Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering Student Society Terms of Reference and EUS and ECSESS Electoral bylaws.
If applicable, prepare a nomination form and gather signatures from peers.
Share nomination Google Form with ecsess.dro@mcgilleus.ca by 5pm March 13th.
Extended nomination period
March 14 - 15
For positions with one or fewer candidates, the nomination period ends at 5PM.
Campaigning period
March 17 - 23
The candidate runs their campaign and reaches out to the student body. The campaign ends at 10PM on March 23rd.
Deadline to register a "No" campaign
March 18
If you are interested in running a "No" campaign against a candidate, you must register by 11:59pm on March 18th.
Submit candidate blurb
March 20
Submit a blurb (max 200 words) about yourself to ecsess.dro@mcgilleus.ca by 12pm on March 20th.
Candidate debates
March 23
The candidate for elected positions debates are held. The location is TBA.
Voting period
March 24 - 30
Cast your vote for your preferred candidates.
Results released
March 31
Election results are published.
Available positions
Positions that are elected by the student body via voting.
Positions that are selected by the ECSESS Council, via selection committee process.
